Our History
Royal Care School is a school born out of deep passion for a total development of the child. Established in 2012, With a modest beginning and a promising future, Royal Care School has metamorphosed into a formidable education institution in the state today. Currently, our Pre-School still runs at our place of take-off at Owolabi Street while our Primary school is located on its permanent site at Sanusi Adeyemo/ Mbarachi Close Satellite Town; where we offer matchless Nursery and Primary education with standard science laboratory, art theater, ICT laboratory and other state of the art facilities.
We have pupils from diverse ranges of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We aim to give all our children the best possible start in life and that means inspiring them with our teachings to progress and learn every single day they are with us. Our focus is in understanding what motivates young people to learn and share their knowledge. We fashion our learning environments to promote a need to know and a need to share. These are natural and modern extensions of Montessori's basic principles - to sustain learning situations that require young people to discover how to do things. We know how important these early years are and promise to follow your child's interest and try at all times to meet their social, emotional and academic needs while giving them the right foundation.
We look forward to welcoming you to Royal Care School.
Our Pre-School
Our Pre-School section is a vibrant and engaging place for children aged 3months – 4years. Our welcoming and friendly environment, with home like features offer a perfect nurturing environment full of opportunities to develop and extend your child’s interests, strengths and passions.
Our Nursery School
We value the importance of developing the whole child, fostering ‘childhood’ and a deep ‘love of learning’. Traditional values are combined with a curriculum focused on high academic standards, to ensure every child reaches their potential.
We aim to equip children with the skills and confidence they will need to succeed on whichever future path they choose. Our inspiring and caring teachers are passionate about bringing learning to life, taking the children on a voyage of discovery and adventure. Seeing the children skip so happily down the path every morning is testament to how well our approach works.
Our Primary Section
Building on the strong foundations laid in the Reception and Nursery sections, our pupils join in Year 1(Primary 1) and develop their independent thinking skills and a love of learning. An innovative and forward-thinking curriculum is delivered by talented, specialist teachers and we are extremely proud of the outstanding Common Entrance and Scholarship results achieved by our Year 6 leavers.
Opportunities for the pupils are plentiful. We are committed to providing an all-round education that caters for many interests and skills - the academic, the musical, the artistic, the sporty, the creative, the technical and the dramatic.
Ethos and Values
Royal Care School aims to create a safe, secure and sustainable learning environment where children feel valued and happy. Children are encouraged, praised and taught to be responsible citizens and take an active role in their community.
